Professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology; recently recognized for his appearance in MIT's Gangnam Style parody video

MIT's Noam Chomsky and the Executive Director of the Middle East Children's Alliance Barbara Lubin come together to discuss A Child's View from Gaza: Palestinian Children's Art and the Fight Against Censorship, a collection of drawings done by children from the Gaza Strip. Although this book was supposed to be displayed in the Oakland Museum of Children's Art, the exhibition was canceled at the last minute without any apparent reason. Come out to Cambridge on Wednesday, November 7th to hear Chomsky and Lubin address the role of children and censorship in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and the probability of a peaceful resolution.

Boston Book Festival

The Boston Book Festival will take place in Copley Square this Saturday, October 27. It is just a short trip down to the green line to Copley and offers workshops, seminars, musical performances, and more. Keynote speakers include Lemony Snicket, the author of A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Richard Ford, a celebrated American novelist and short story writer, whose works include Independence Day and Canada. Taking place rain or shine in Copley Square, the Boston Public Library, and surrounding buildings, the Boston Book Festival has events for anyone that appreciates literature!
